Any thoughts on a new year skincare resolution? More clear, brighter and firmer skin? I believe everybody wants to attain healthy, better skin than ‘now you’ this year, and additionally spend less + more speedy = perfect scenario🤩
One of 2024 Global Beauty Trends is Well-aging & Pro-Aging: a term used to promote a positive and empowering perspective on the aging process. It’s about accepting yourself, embracing & celebrating the aging journey and enjoying the value that comes with getting older.
Rather than stressful anti-aging, seeking fight-wrinkles, invasive treatment etc, focus on supporting the skin’s natural progression and look after your wellness, making the most of the years.
Aside from Pro-aging – be realistic and positive approach to the aging process, another interesting trend is Skin Streaming, a new trend that involves streamlining your skin-care routine to 3~4 essential products as we getting busy and try to save time & money, I think this trend will impact very positively this year – also sounds like smart skincare products will be full of in the market soon such as effective immediately with little effort, boom! 💫Magic wand🌠😄
Here now in 2024, I’d love to give some ideas on maintaining beautiful, healthy skin (Well-Aging but also to look better) and hopefully you guys enjoy my little skincare journey throughout the year, and will heard from you about having better skin. 😘
🍭Quickest & Easiest way to achieve a soft, smooth skin
These 2 products are my first recommendation for the new year which I have experienced, resulting in soft, smooth skin next morning. They are not ‘New New’ however my latest discovery items from late last year with many positive reviews.
- Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask
A hydro-gel mask, containing ultra-low molecular weight collagen and Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate to firm, hydrate and brighten the skin. This more than 2 million-sold gel mask features the 34g of skincare essence is absorbed into the skin while wearing, and as time passes, it becomes transparent.
*Product Details:
- Triple Probiotic Complex, containing Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Low molecular Collagen (243 Da) and Oligo Hyaluronic Acid to help with skin hydration, elasticity, and brightening
- Proven results shown that reduced pores, increased skin hydration (up to 256%) and improved skin radiance
- Free of 25 harmful ingredients and Skin-irritation test completed
*How to use:
After using a toner & serum, apply the collagen mask on your skin and let it absorb for about 3~4 hours before removing it.
Tip. Using it as a sleep mask in the last step of your skincare routine will make it even more effective.
(comes with part for mouth and eye patch so you can under layer it or place over the nose area as there will be a gap when you apply to your skin)
Unlike other sheet masks – essence soaked in a sheet(material) – this mask solidified 34g of pure skincare essence so has an excellent adhesion yet is easily torn – need to handle gently when you’re applying.
In 3.5 hrs, the mask became transparent as described on the package (leave on for 3~5 hrs). I assume the active ingredients all absorbed into my skin, making my skin soft and smooth. I feel slightly tighter skin, however pore sizes are too early to discuss.
You can wear 2~3 times a week and up to 5 hrs without skin irritation so may recommend to use at night. I tried daytime too, however you can move around but not good for eating😝
- ApomeDerm Breath Wrapping Cream
Unlikely product title, it’s a peel-off mask and/or wash-off mask that combined the benefits of 4 masks – sleeping mask, peel-off, wash-off and sheet mask to deliver hydrating, firming and skin-refining effect.
*Product Details:
- Mederm MP™ containing antioxidant-rich Commiphora Myrrha Oil, Kaolin and pea-peptides to purify, tighten skin and prevent acne
- Various Peptides, Caffeine and Adenosine help to increase skin firmness & elasticity while Niacinamide improve even skin tone
- Forms skin-friendly, breathable artificial membrane to balance, prevent moisture loss and provide skin-tightening effect
*How to use:
At the last skincare step, apply evenly to the face, avoiding eye & mouth area. Wait for 15~20mins until dry then sleep.
Peel-off the mask next morning. (Can be used as a wash-off pack, leave on for 2~8 hrs and rinse off instead of peel-off the mask)
It delivers smooth skin and a slightly brighter look next morning, even though instant effect – my skin looks more clear & tighter than before.

These 2 masks are great for at-home self care, special weekly treatment and effortlessly delivers positive results without irritating skin. 👍
