AMUSE Dew Wear Foundation Review

Cushion Foundation? or Liquid Foundation? Cushion (foundation)’s easy to create your skin smooth, even and dewy-looking complexion, however something that cannot deliver such as delicate, detailed coverage for your entire face as much as liquid foundation does, so I use both formulas whenever I feel like😆

Always seeking my fav cosmetics but pretty much everyday new product releases so hard to avoid to buy a thing that has a risk to be failed – long story to be short, I purchased this NEW & HOT ‘AMUSE Dew Wear Foundation‘ without hesitation as I like Won-young, K-Pop Star and trust AMUSE brand quality. Here is my review😜

Have compared with other glow foundations and AMUSE Dew Wear has a jelly-like, dense texture compared to others, and the color is neutral yellow tone.

🌼Finish (Result)

Very comfortable and breathable – it applies thinly and feels hydrating on my skin. Great thing is that it makes my skin almost ‘Jello’ skin – unlike greasy & oiliness, it creates a glowy-looking and more plumped complexion as if I have a moisture super-charged skin.
The product described, it gives watery glow, elastic-like skin. Yes, it does and maybe too much glowness that can be debatable if you never experienced(=^･^=) – Recommends this product for dry to normal skin types.

• Lack of shades (3 shades) & Tone
• Foundation Separating – getting patchy in some areas and breaks down after hours

Tone: I used #02 Healthy shade suitable for No.23 user, and it’s very Neutral beige so some of part, especially jawline and around the nose area, turned a bit grey-ish (my undertone is warm).

🌼My Experience & Tip

When I have dead skin cells and my skin dry, this foundation likely other foundations cling to dry patches, emphasizing visible patches and look flaky. The solution is/was “prepping skin super-moist” and polish like a glossy floor tile🤣 Well, here is my tip:

👉Use a toner pad

1. After applying a foundation (base makeup) and you have noticed some patches – place a toner pad on the troubled area and meanwhile do other parts of makeup such as eye makeup.
2. 3~5mins later, remove the toner pad and gently slough off dead skin cells or dry patch then reapply small amounts of serum or hydrating sunscreen, wait until dry. Reapply foundation partially or dab with a cushion.

👉Use the right tool
This foundation fixes quietly well so apply with a sponge or spatula. Inclosed sponges are quite good however if the product doesn’t come with a sponge, use other sponges. Result is better than the brush and my recommendations are:

1. Hanyul Makeup Sponge or Piccasoo Makeup sponge
2. Fillimilli makeup spatula or Piccasso Makeup spatula
   

cf. Rather than pumping directly on the face, pump on your hand and gently spread out and dab with a sponge. When applied to the face, sweep down gently and then dabbing. Will be thanks me later 😊

👉Can be layered a setting spray
Not necessary, however this makeup fixer my dewy makeup last longer

🌼Conclusion

It was a kind of new experience that I have never tried like this ‘Jello Dewy Makeup’ – it is beyond dewy, glass skin – almost like a clear bouncing ball being super-elasticky looking skin. 😂 Anyway it was fun and very enjoyable every morning. It has a little bit of downside such as foundation separation, needs a retouch as oil builds up and may need a hair tied up – your hair will stick to your face, other than that it’s a good product, especially for those who want Dewy Glass Skin Makeup.

For me, this foundation gives my skin a healthy glow and smooths out pores well. The glowness stays long enough without darkening, however the foundation breaks down after some hours – sits in my wrinkles (matura skin😩) and oiliness build up, non-greasy😁.

It pairs well with AMUSE Dew Jelly Cushion and also it can be your Nomakeup Makeuplook item as well as skipcare-item which is replaceable for your sunscreen or heavy moisturizer.
